![]() ![]() The facility I am working at is using DNxHD 145 MXF as a codec, perhaps there may be something involving this particular codec. Please note that this phenomenom is not unique to the Gaussian Blur effect but rather to any BCC 5 effect. All of this is not really a problem until I try to edit this boris 5 effect in my timeline, this is not possible as I enter the effect mode but the effect does not appear in my effect editor. I see the effect just fine on the screen but with an unfamiliar Icon in the timeline (instead of the familiar plug-in icon I get a socketless icon, just a plain box for an icon). I enter a different edit suite which has a MC (2.74) and bring into a bin the above mentioned sequence. After rendering and playing it out, I have checked it into Interplay. Using Boris 5, I created a simple 5 second sequence in a Nitris (1.7.4) which has a blur that masks a talking head. I just recreated the problem I was referring to in this post.
